Women's pair of Glover and Stanning, and cyclist Wiggins, honoured with instant stamps.
Two gold medal stamps were issued on Thursday, August 2, after the rowing women's pair, Helen Glover and Heather Stanning, and time trialist Bradley Wiggins struck gold for Great Britain.
Glover and Stanning were also presented with a large mock-up of their stamp live on the BBC by Gary Lineker.
Stanning said: 'Granddad is going to love that. He collects stamps.'
A clearly-delighted Glover said: 'Thank you so much. That's amazing.'
The bottom miniature sheet in the A4 press sheets of four bears the printers imprint in a perforated selvedge, so a full press sheet is not necessary for the imprint.
