I haven't seen one either. Interesting.

I would guess PO stands for the shipping line?

Any date anywhere or an address that may give a clue?

Hi Geoff ,

There is no date anywhere on the envelope .

It was posted from London EC2A (with a "return if undelivered "printed on front at the bottom of the envelope, ) to an address in Devon nr Sidmouth

Bit of loss at the moment to suggest anything other than as previously mentioned which to be perfectly honest doesn't really fit with this going through the postal system. Will post back if I come across anything.

P.O. = Post Office. The supplies Dept distributed forms, cancels, stamps etc to post offices as I understand it. I have seen a few of these before, but not many.
