Just recognized.
These stamps of  Australia are design by American artist James Gurney - creator of Dinotopia  who designed famous American sheet of Dinosaurs in 1997

Just wonder if any museums at your area produce any kind of special philatelic souvenirs ?

Just on the next day after official issue, I received addressed FDC from Royal Mail. It's arrived inside of another cover - perhaps for better protection.
Now puzzled if the FDC acn be count as real circukated one ? The sort-machine sign (orange dotted line) is stay on the wrapper cover rather than FDC itself.
Another curiosity of the FDC - addressed cover to none-UK destination was cheaper as the one of UK destination.

The FDC is also include an inside page with some brief description about dinosaurs depicted on the stamps

First day and other special covers are usually sent out like this, so I wouldn't worry too much about being properly postally run. After all, you did pay for the postage.

Do you like the issue? Seems like the illustrations are quite detailed.
