Ta Keith - that's all sorted now. The link goes to the 2013 edition. but I still have to get the pic replaced. It's cheaper than Collect British Stamps! Note that BSMV doesn't illustrate every stamp, though, if that's essential, as it's a price guide.

For me the illustrations provide a preset guide as to the order of the stamps. If it was left to me, I would be forever rearranging my stamps so they were in whatever order I thought was best for a given day/week/month.

Also, I really like the SG Windsor Elite albums. Very nice, lays flat, has catalog numbers and illustrations.

I know how that feels! Seeing you guys talk about preprinted albums has made enthusiastic all over again. I've been digging mine out last night and going through them, filling gaps and feeling good!

See Adrian? That's the thrill I get.... "ooh... ooh... there's the one I'm looking for!" laugh

I too have the collect GB stamps catalogue and find it useful but like Julia said the values are quite unrealistic so I may try the British Stamps & values catalogue next time I buy one. I am also after some preprinted albums but the price is rather extreme if it comes with mounts which I would like. Been looking at these Palo ones, anyone ever seen the quality of these **LINK** . Also, has anyone ever bought a preprinted album without mounts then used the mounts that can be bought seperately as I have been wondering if this is feasible?

Nathan, I just received the SG Windsor Elite albums. I really like them. They do not have mounts but I will definately use them, probably Scott's black mounts as I like how the stamps stand out. I also got the Concise SG catalog; very nice also.

re: mounts, I just use commercial mounts as well.
