I guess the UK has to redeem them though! Must annoy your average small office.

I should think it was an onerous task Paul, but that begs the question who is the Royal Mail/Post Office there to serve the public or its own interests?

I collect anything with a sailing boat or bird/dove stamps. Stamps with design like the Bluenose stamp is something i greatly admire

Will there be a Baltex 2016 stampexhibition? The last time i attended was 2014. I was hoping there will be in Sweden.. It's just grand for a newbie collector here...

BALTEX 2016

Friday Sep 02, 2016 09:15 to Sunday Sep 04, 2016 17:15 according to a website I found. I can't see this info anywhere else though. There is one in Hin Halmstad, Sweden 12-15 August this year apparently called HALLFRIM.
The big one in Stockholm will be 29 May to 2 June in 2019 if you want to book ahead!
Otherwise in Europe this year:
25-29 August, Gmunden, Austria
9-11 Sept, OSTROPA 2016 in Germany
14-17 Sept, STAMPEX in London
25-27 Oct, BULCOLLECTO, Plovdiv in Bulgaria
27-29 Oct, Sindelfingen, Germany (annual event - I shall be attending, it's a good one)
If you want to go further, Thailand next month, Taiwan in October.

Hi,

I inherited a collection of stamps mostly Austrian & Czechoslovakian, but also from many other countries and so I'm trying to understand them and valuation.

Constance here. I collect stamps, currently I choose not to be picky with them.

Anything that has any significant value or be in the future, I take it!cool
