image.jpgI have found what looks to be an error on my stamp. The pale blue shadow is missing from the stamp below. What do you think?

Wow that's a lot of stamps!!! I think it's a great hobby. I became housebound a year ago so it's a good thing to do to pass the time. My kids have even taken an interest which is nice. My son particularly likes Christmas ones and my daughter enjoys looking through them too. She is a young starter at three years old

Haha I wish

my mum gave me her stamp collection so I've enjoyed looking through all of the stamps particularly Chinese and German stamps. There are also a lot of british stamps in the collection. Some of them are real works of art. I bought 1kg of GB stamps from EBay and I've been trying to sort them all out. I think I may have bitten of more than I can chew though I do also enjoy looking for faults, i find it really exciting, like going on a treasure hunt

how long have you all been collecting for and what do you collect?

Thread: Can anyone tell me what the fault is on my stamp please?

Thank you everyone for your replies and tips

Thanks for your reply. It's very strange, it looks like some grey coating has covered it and to me it looks like the gold is on top of it. I wondered if it might have something to do with the phosphor?

Hello everyone, I'm new here and this is my first post. I inherited a stamp collection which got me hooked and now I enjoy looking for rarities and errors
