Closed port and late-docking ships mean magazine will be late in North America.
Storm Sandy has affected deliveries of Stamp Magazine to North America.
The Port of New York was closed after the devastating storm, and the ship bearing the November issue was expected to dock on November 12, rather than November 4.
Exporters Comag estimate it could take another week to clear Customs and enter the distribution chain.
The delay affects both subscription and newsstand copies.
Comag and suppliers in North America will do their utmost to minimise the disruption.
It is likely the on-sale date of the next two issues will be staggered.
Stamp Magazine editor Guy Thomas said: 'Some of our American readers will have be facing far bigger concerns, but nonetheless we apologise for the delay, which you will appreciate is beyond our control.'
