To those interested, I have had an email back in response to my persistence regarding stamps being cancelled by Biro rather than correct post office cancellation.
I pointed out that 38 stamps on an envelope from Australia could be cancelled in a very careful way, whilst here I have a pile of Biro cancelled items including large envelopes not difficult packets.
I have suggested that Cancelling at the Post Office counter would be the best method of cancelling.

Hi , I know many of you have similar vandalised stamps received but this made me chuckle . Clearly no " mental awareness " going on here which is perhaps why they're supporting it ? The biro looks to have been added after the slogan , really was it necessary ?
