Vera, I just added the link. Use the globe and chain logo when posting to be able insert a link.

Certainly looks like it, doesn't it? Which is kind of cool.

Oh look what flew thru my postbox today. Two American bird stamps, one showing a natural Northern Goshawk, the other two abstract blue love birds. Both on the same envelope, too.

Nice. I like the other, more modern blue two-doves one. Know the one I mean?

I thought that's what you meant when the e-mail notifications came through, as I can't see pics then.

Does anyone have that? I'm deep in production editing GB News, so can't go hunting.

That's more than a little bit topical, Som!

I've JUST finished proof-reading Adrian's article on Italian East Africa stamps, which features this stamp! I believe it's on the cover of the March issue, too.

Beautiful stamp, that goshawk stamp. Vera will like that one! The US really do some mean bird stamps!

Also like the Italian East Africa stamp very much, Som. I've actually just written a feature on those stamps and others from IEA, which will hopefully be published soonish in Stamp Magazine. And it's another one for Vera's theme, i would say!

And I think I may have found the two blue doves stamp. Is this the one?

It comes from a great website with all sorts of blue birds.

EDIT: I see that Julia just beat me to it!

Um, hello! Did you read my post? Yes, it's in this month.

And, yes, that's the one I meant. Thanks.
