THE KING'S STAMPS

George V's greatest stamps on stamps

The miniature sheet to be issued on the opening day of the London 2010 exhibition, May 8, reproduces classic stamps from the reign of George V using a combination of lithography and intaglio.
The King's Stamps has four stamp-on-stamp designs, all within a border showing the franking value and the Queen's head.
The stamp reproductions are printed intaglio, the rest of the sheet in litho.
